Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Edu Global Consulting Ltd. (“Edu Global”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website. We are based at 231 Oak Park Blvd, Unit 301-C, Oakville, Ontario L6H 7S8, Canada, and we comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What this policy covers
It covers this website and the project enquiry form on it. It does not cover services we provide under a separate agreement, or other websites we link to, which have their own policies.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send a project enquiry we collect your name, business email address, the company or institution you represent (optional), the service you are interested in (optional) and the project requirements you describe.
Information collected automatically. When you submit the form, our server records your IP address to limit abuse (for example, repeated automated submissions) and includes it in the enquiry email so we can recognise spam. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your enquiry, including student records, immigration files or client records. We do not need these to respond.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your requirements.
- To send you one automatic confirmation that your enquiry was received, to the email address you gave.
- To assess whether and how we can help, and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one.
- To protect the website and our mailbox from spam and abuse.
We do not use enquiry details for marketing newsletters, and submitting the form does not subscribe you to anything. This website offers no marketing subscription.
Consent
By submitting the enquiry form you consent to us collecting and using the information you provide for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing [email protected]; we will then stop using your information, subject to any legal or contractual obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:
- DigitalOcean, LLC hosts this website. Enquiries pass through our application on DigitalOcean’s infrastructure in its Toronto, Canada region, and DigitalOcean keeps standard server logs.
- Microsoft Corporation provides Microsoft 365, the email system that receives and stores your enquiry. Microsoft stores mailbox data in the data-centre region assigned to our Microsoft 365 tenant and processes it under the Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum.
Some of these providers operate outside Canada. Information held outside Canada is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction, including lawful access by its authorities.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics and does not use advertising or social media tracking. No consent banner is shown because none is needed. If we add analytics in future we will update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails stay in our business mailbox for as long as we need them to respond and, if an engagement follows, for the duration of that relationship. Otherwise we delete them within 24 months of our last contact with you. Server logs held by our hosting provider are retained for a short, provider-defined period and are not used to identify you.
How we protect it
The website is served only over HTTPS. The enquiry form is processed on our server, and the credentials used to deliver enquiries are held server-side, never in your browser. Access to the mailbox that receives enquiries is limited to staff who handle them, protected by multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to access or correct it, or to delete it. You may also withdraw your consent or raise a concern about how we handle your information. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and institutions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through it.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes that affect how we use information already collected will be communicated to the people concerned.
